Moving from place to place without a fixed plan; roaming; rambling; meandering. Having no permanent residence; nomadic. Also known as "Full-Timers".

Meet The Wandering Bays
Full-Time RV'ers since 2015

Picture
From their earliest times together, Michael and Terry Bay have fond memories of camping and the great outdoors. As they raised their children, they made sure that the outdoors were a big part of their family events. From tent camping, travel trailers and cabins, they have experienced it all. They have been looking forward to this new chapter in their lives nearly ever since. It's always been their dream to travel, or wander aimlessly from place to place, just enjoying what each new day brings.

Married 32 years, they are the proud parents of two children, Matthew and Brittany. Their daughter-in-law, Allyson, joined the family in June 2015 when she and Matt were married. The entire family enjoys the camping lifestyle with many fond memories and "Kodak moments" from their numerous excursions.

Home Base

Home base for The Wandering Bays is Livingston, Texas. However, you will generally encounter them as they visit one of the many camping preserves of the Encore-Thousand Trails RV Resorts and Campgrounds system. Living full time in their fifth wheel travel trailer affords them the opportunity to stay virtually anywhere adventure may take them. For a closer look at their rig, click here.

America's Love
of Exploring

Americans, it seems, have been destined to be RVers since the earliest days that explorers set foot on this continent. Adventurers at heart, settlers came in search of freedom and opportunities to grow and discover. And discover they did – first by ship, then by horse, in groups by Conestoga wagon trains and, ultimately, by motorized vehicles that ushered in the RVs of today.
